CMR1 - Canine multifocal retinopathy 1 - is an inherited eye disease characterized by areas of retinal detachment. 

DM - Degenerative myelopathy - is an inherited neurologic disorder of dogs characterized by gradual muscle wasting and loss of coordination typically beginning in the hind limbs. 

HUU -  Hyperuricosuria - is an inherited disorder characterized by elevated levels of uric acid in the urine that can lead to the formation of bladder/kidney stones. 

Ginni is a lilac and tan with Irish white markings, also known as a lilac tri. Ginni carries the intensity gene. Ginni is not brindle. Ginni does not carry piebald. Ginni isn't merle and she isn't a cryptic merle. Any puppy produced by Ginni will be what is commonly referred to as a "triple carrier". 

As you can see in the image above, Ginni has passed her annual physical in each and every category, and we couldn't be more pleased! Ginni's Fecal & Heartworm testing were negative. Dental cleanings weren't recommended because Ginni's dental hygiene is on-point (and she naturally has lovely teeth alignment and her bite is properly undershot). Heartworm preventive wasn't recommended because Ginni has always taken a monthly preventive and will continue to do so. Ginni received booster vaccines to maintain immunity to common canine diseases, and prevent common infectious canine diseases. These booster vaccines will also provide Ginni's litter some protection from diseases via maternal antibodies ingested while nursing.
